Partial & Complete Dentures at Danson Park Dental Practice in Bexleyheath, Kent
Dentures fall in to two categories; partial dentures and complete upper and lower dentures.
They are removable and are used to replace missing teeth. Today’s dentures look very natural and as well as making people less self-conscious about gaps in their mouths they also function like real teeth making eating and speaking easier.
Our principal, Dr Pessian has completed her specialist training in this subject and is renowned for making perfect fitting dentures that are comfortable, functional and and aesthetically pleasing. The artificial teeth which are used are made up of several gradations of colour to provide a much more natural appearance than typical denture teeth. They do not require the use of any fixatives.

What does the treatment involve?
An impression of your mouth is taken to ensure a perfect fit. Work may need to be carried out before you can have permanent dentures in which case you will receive a temporary set during treatment.
How do I look after dentures?
Dentures have to be removed at night and should be brushed when taken out and again before putting back in the mouth. Special tablets can be used to clean dentures overnight.
Do they look false?
No, these days dentures are incredibly natural-looking and it is more or less impossible to tell you are wearing false teeth.
