Chemical Peels in Kent

If you need a trusted, well respected facial rejuvenation expert in Kent offering the very best chemical peels, then Danson Park Dental Practice in Bexleyheath can help.

What is a chemical peel?

Chemical peels can be described as a Deep Facial and they are applied in a gel format to the skin to remove the upper top layer of the skin which consists of a thick layer of dead cells.

How do chemical facial peels help?

Chemical facial peels also helps tackle more significant skincare concerns such as pigmentation, due to sun damage, treating photo damage, acne scarring, fine lines and dullness of the skin.

Facials are designed to remove/eliminate the top layer of skin that can be quite a thick layer of dead cells.

Our aim at Danson Park Dental is to improve the appearance of skin, not only by Facial Rejuvenation treatment, but also by providing a full comprehensive maintenance programme of the skin.

Using this combination will compliment and prolong the effects of Facial Rejuvenation treatments such as the injectables we offer (Fillers and Botox).

These programmes are complimentary with the use of skin products such as corrective creams or preventive serums which will correct or prevent fine facial lines.

This is the most effective way of tackling the formation or treatment of fine facial lines.

Main ingredients of chemical peels

The main ingredients of chemical peels are Glycolic Acids, Lactic Acid and Vitamin C.

Glycolic Acids
Highly praised as the gold standard in chemical exfoliation, this potent ingredient is found in cleansers, serums, toners, creams and professional treatments such as chemical peels. It provides an effective solution for various skin concerns including dullness, uneven texture and tone, blemishes, and or signs of skin ageing.

It effectively loosens and releases dead and dehydrated cells, increasing the rate of exfoliation on the surface of the skin which helps minimise the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and dull skin tone.

Lactic Acids
The lactic acid ingredient has an exfoliating action in peels, but also a moisturising function, which makes this peel good for menopausal women, frequent travellers – anyone with drier skin, as it reveals newer epidermal layers and helps moisturise the skin.

Vitamin C
Considered to be one of the most powerful and effective antioxidants, Vitamin C provides advanced environmental protection and visible anti-ageing benefits such as reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discolouration. Vitamin C gently brightens and smooths your skin.

Our three types of chemical peels

Gel Peel (Cost: £85)

Micropeel (Cost: £110)

The Micropeel helps to refine skin texture and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is done by using an advanced AHA peel that exfoliates dead skin cells. These treatments exfoliate and resurface the topmost layer of the skin to reveal new, healthy skin underneath.

The main ingredients for the Micropeel:

  • 30% Glycolic Acid
  • 20% Glycolic Acid
