This extended session gives us time to carry out an in depth assessment of your medical history, oral & gum health history and record your current gingival health score. We will carry out a ‘full pocket chart’, which means that we examine in detail the gum health of each and every tooth, checking for bleeding, mobility and the presence of bacteria or toxins.
We also carry out a full oral hygiene education programme to show you how to look after your gum health at home using techniques and accessories most suitable for you; this will include discussions about your diet, most importantly your sugar intake & also questions around smoking and alcohol consumption.
Once this is complete, we carry out a full mouth clean and polish using a combination of hand instruments and ultrasonic power cleaners and finish this with a high gloss polish. Your mouth will feel clean, refreshed and revived. Our experienced hygiene team can then plan future visits depending on your individual needs
This session will also include a little gift bag of recommended products for you to take home.
